Pastor Terry Evans Retiring — “Free and Clear Fund”
After nearly 32 years of faithful ministry at Grace Pointe Assembly of God in Hixson, Pastor Terry Evans has announced his retirement, effective April 25, 2027. As he prepares to conclude this chapter of ministry, Jamie and Darleen Heartfield have initiated a special effort, with the support of the Grace Pointe Church Board and Superintendent Terry Bailey, to help fulfill Pastor Terry's longtime vision of seeing the church become completely debt-free before his retirement.
With just $75,500 remaining on the church’s original $1.4 million mortgage, generous donors have committed to matching gifts dollar-for-dollar through the Free and Clear Fund.
This effort has the support of the Grace Pointe Church Board and Superintendent Terry Bailey. We invite our Tennessee Ministry Network family to read the following letter from Jamie and Darleen Heartfield and prayerfully consider joining in this opportunity to honor Pastor Terry’s faithful service and invest in the future of Grace Pointe.
